Transatlantic Partnership

Strengthening transatlantic relations is one of AJC's core objectives. AJC works tirelessly to support and deepen the transatlantic relationship in the belief that our common values set the best foundations for the future. On the basis of this partnership, the challenges posed by authoritarian and undemocratic systems can be overcome together.

No organization is better positioned than AJC, with its numerous offices in Europe and the U.S., to build bridges and promote mutual understanding across the Atlantic. Through various exchange programs with partners, AJC has promoted transatlantic dialogue and strengthened relationships over the past several decades.

AJC Berlin in action

Since 1980, hundreds of decision makers from the U.S. and Germany have taken part in the joint AJC-Konrad Adenauer Foundation exchange program.

Each year, together with Allianz SE, and in cooperation with Germany Close Up, AJC brings together Jewish-American and German leaders. In addition to current issues such as foreign and security policy, seminars within the program’s framework also address contemporary Jewish life and its history.

AJC Berlin also regularly hosts high-level discussions on transatlantic relations with experts from Israel and both sides of the Atlantic to promote mutual understanding and initiate campaigns across the pond to strengthen the transatlantic partnership.
